This summer, as with last summer, France is experiencing periods of severe heat wave, and Paris is no exception. The temperature is expected to top 40 degrees Celsius this week!
The heat, coupled with the hordes of visitors that replace holidaying Parisians, makes Paris a stifling city.
But even with the heat and crowd, there is something very relaxing and warming about the summertime in Paris that I find so irresistible.
Maybe it’s because the winter in Paris is so grey and wet… And the summer in Paris is so fleeting and precious… It makes you wanna dance and laugh on the street!
For now, the festivities go on, as if the whole city is in a dream.
